Tennis for Kids returns for 2018. This hugely succesful national initiative will be rolled out in Marshfield and Biddestone in April. Courses, for children aged 4-11 who are new to tennis, will offer 6 lessons, a t-shirt, racquet and balls for a very cheap price.
21st April - A fun doubles tournament for teams of child and parent. Events run at both our clubs. We are taking entries so please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in playing.
The summer season starts at the beginning of April. We have teams competing in the Wiltshire leagues across several age groups.
We run tennis camps at both our clubs during the school holidays. For information on dates and prices please email email@example.com
Team Challenge moved on to Biddestone after a succesful first session in Marshfield. 10 players took on the challenge and had a great time trying to be the winning team. Well done everyone!
Some smaller groups this holiday means we have focused more on technical aspects of our tennis. We had lots of fun in a mix of rain and sunshine (mostly rain) working hard and playing lots of games and matches.
We are about half way through the Wiltshire Team Tennis Season with teams involved in nearly all the age groups from Marshfield and Biddestone. Lots of juniors will be involved against various clubs around the county.
A really big turn out for the family cup competition, 33 pairs across our 2 clubs is an amazing achievement. A couple of hours of competition with everyone playing lots of games and our overall winners invited to play at a big competition in London!
We have gone Tennis For Kids crazy this term. We planned to offer 40 places for children who are new to tennis to get involved but have now very nearly filled 80 spaces! We hope to roll out more courses in the summer holidays and autumn term as there are lots more children keen to participate.
