Our coaching programmes focus on building complete athletes — individuals with strong technical skills, adaptable movement, and problem‑solving abilities that transfer across a wide range of sports and activities. Since 2011, Head Coach Sam Hull and his team of dedicated assistants have delivered all coaching services at Marshfield Tennis Club — a thriving hub for players of every age and standard. The club prides itself on being open and welcoming, offering everything from relaxed social play between friends to club‑run activities, competitions and a wide range of adult and junior teams.

We also support the school sport provision at Marshfield Primary School and work with several other primary and secondary schools.

HEAD COACH - MARSHFIELD TENNIS CLUB
WILTSHIRE TENNIS COACH WORKFORCE LEAD
Sam has been working with Marshfield Tennis Club since it opened in 2011. He was awarded the Wiltshire LTA Coach of the Year title in 2017 and 2021. Sam is currently the Guinness World Record holder for the Fastest Marathon dressed as a Tennis Player!
Set within the Withymead Recreation Ground, the club is close to excellent sporting facilities and great views out to the countryside.
Marshfield Tennis Club has 4 flood lit hard courts and is situated in a lovely settings within the Withymead Recreation Ground. The committee works hard to ensure the courts and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
